By far my favorite item on the entire website, this gorgeous vintage knit afghan is truly a treasure! Pansies, roses, and morning glories dance in orderly rows down the length of the spread. They’re cross-stitched over the top of the knitted rows (which I’m told is quite a feat, since the knit must lay perfectly flat to accomplish the task). You will find this in excellent condition with no problems whatsoever ~ unused, unwashed, and lightly scented from the cedar chest it obviously spent time lounging in. Years of work went into the making of this ~ it’s spectacular! (74x71 inches, not including the 5 inches of fringe on two ends)
